Ingredients


Mushroom - 500 gm (Wash well and slice them.)
Frozen green Peas - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green chilies - 2 (finely chopped)
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Pinch of asafoetida
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - 8-10
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Procedure


  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, pinch of asafoetida, green chilies and curry leaves. let them splutter.
  • Add chopped onion and saute till translucent. Add ginger and garlic paste and saute for few seconds till raw smell goes away.
  • Add chopped tomato and cook till it turns tender.
  • Add mushrooms, green peas, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Mix well and cover the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
  • Cook uncovered for 2-3 minutes till all moisture evaporates. Sprinkle some black pepper powder and serve hot with roti.
