Ingredients:
1 cup poha / beaten rice
1 boiled potato
2 slices of bread
4 green chilies - finely chopped
1 medium onion - finely chopped
half tsp of coriander powder
half tsp of cumin powder
half tsp of carom seeds
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
half cup chopped cilantro
salt to taste
Procedure:
- Soak the poha in water for 5 minutes and drain out access water. Take soaked poha in mixing bowl and add mashed potato, bread pieces, chopped onion, green chilies. Add all dry ingredients i.e. coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, carom seeds and salt to taste. Finally add chopped cilantro and mix well. Make a soft dough and make cutlet of any shape you want
- Heat up oil in pan and shallow fry the cutlets on medium heat. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup.
